10 random facts

Ok, its been a longggggggg time since I posted something here. It seems to have grown some spiderwebs and stuff. Anyway just for fun, demand by Shuyun.

1) I'm the eldest Grandson in my direct family (Dad's side). Also eldest among all the Grandchildren in my mum's side.

2) I'm like the Youngest in class?

3) Don't think many of you know. I'm not a cradle Catholic as most Catholics are. I got into it 2 years back and got Baptised just 1 month ago. And I'm the only Catholic in the family. (wait, do you guys know that I'm a Catholic in the first place?)

4) Despite my O level results, I wanted to do Molecular Biology in NYP. But I'm glad I didn't take it hehehe

5) I ever took piano lessons before. I stopped eventually when I was primary 3. I learnt a few songs but all I remember now is Mary Had a Little Lamb =P

6) I was one of the top students in Primary Sch for english and chinese. Well, in sec sch, my chinese was one of the not bad ones but english considered half bucket. When I'm in ITE, my chinese is the worst and my english the best

7) The last 2 fingers of my left hand was almost severed into 2 pieces before. It was hanging. Got slammed by door when I was a kid. Stitched it back by some specialist whom I dont know who and I dont need to know who. Amazingly, so much blood was lost, and it seem so pain, but all my teachers say I didnt cry.

8) I have a weird taste and view on girls. They vary, alot.

9) I don't look like I'm the type that I would listen to rock. Well, I like rock, my 1st choice genre of music =D

10) I like the night view of esplanade. I like going esplanade at night. Cool, free feeling. Although noisy but it seemed to get me away from everything. Oh yes did I mention I like to walk in the rain also?

Chinese New Year

its been soooooooo long.... Another chinese new year, and I'm still damn troubled by it...

New Year's Eve

Hmmm, its been like 2 whole months since I made an entry here? Since its New Year's Eve, I'll make an entry here because its kinda special.

Ok, sum of this year's events. First half of the year was a good one, seriously. First it was my sort of first ever working experience at InCalls Systems. Learnt how to talk to strangers better, and learnt how to sleep during work =P.
Secondly, collection of O Level Results. Kinda disappointed with my maths. Although its like I knew it was coming, but I guess theres still an element of disappointment. But theres still an A2 for Humanites that saved some face haha.
Thirdly, its the IBC Area 6 Judging Course. After 4 days of training, finally awarded the IBC Certified Judges Certificate along with 21 other Judges in Area 6 (which includes whole of South Asia and Australasia). With this cert, we're certified to judge any show/competition that is IBC sanctioned in Area 6. Kinda great achievement for me.
Fourth, its the AQUARAMA 05. Submitted total of 12 entries and won 1 Gold, 1 Silver and 2 Bronze in the various categories. I guess its quite a great achievement for me, a recognition for my ability to choose fishes.
Fifth, its the Bettabite Plakat and Crowntail competition. It was a great success especially for Bettabite. I was one of the judges for all Crowntail categories and thats the first time I actually judged a show. And FusionBettas (Scott and Me) won the Grand Champion for all Plakats category with a Turquoise HMPK and thats the first time I actually won something like a Grand Champion. The closest I got to was Reserve Grand Champion.

Here comes the second half of the year. Not really a good one. Enrolled into ITE, followed by a series of heart breaking events which I wouldn't want to mention about. But I guess those who know me should roughly know what had happen. And I'm still pretty bothered by it.
I joined the RCIY (Rite of the Catholic Initiation of Youth - issit like that?), and my relationship with God grew much closer. I really thank God for bringing me to this group, and helping me to grow spiritually. Got to know many more new friends in the group, and even some very close friends.

Overall, this year has been quite fruitful, especially with God's guidance. I made many new friends, and brought old friendships much closer together, especially with some that I haven't really talked to for years. I've learnt that caring does not equate to feelings, and I learnt it hard. I learnt how to handle different types of people, different types of characters. I learnt that its hard to let go certain things, but many a times we choose not to although we hang those words by our mouths all the time. I learnt how to talk and do things with confidence. I learnt how to manage money more effectively. I learnt so many things as I grow 1 year older this year.

There isn't really much to say, just let God decide and do everything while I will live by His words. I really thank God for everything, everybody He has given me, and I pray that the following year will be as fruitful as this year.

Here's aims for next half a year
-Score at least 3.0 for my GPA during March Exams.
-Spawn good Melanos
-Maintain old friendships
-Continue what I am to my close friends
-Continue being a spastic boy?
-Follow closely with God =)

Emptiness

I feel a sense of emptiness today. Why? Because its my birthday :)

Something I heard today......

Well, theres this uniform group. They're having their Promotion Ceremony on this particular day. One of the cadet, has a very sick father at hospital. But he came, showing his great interest in his CCA. His commitment paid him off with a promotion from Private to Lance Corporal. But at this point of time, he received a call, his father had just passed away at the hospital. He didn't get to see his father the last time. This came very unexpectedly. I cannot imagine how much pain he goes through. But to date he still comes for the CCA, showing great commitment and interest. I cannot understand how much he emotional injury he had.

BTW its a TRUE story, not any story me or my friend made up
